#100 DAY PROJECT — DAY 5

More watercolor on khadi paper. And I’m back to one of my favorite themes—flowers in pots. I know they’re simple and repetitive, but I do learn something new every time I paint one. This time I practiced with color mixing to get the purple, yellow and green I wanted. The scarlet came straight from the tube. I just love the explosion of colors. The deeper the better.
