#100dayproject — Day 100
I took a break today from the #icad2020 challenge because the #100dayproject ends today. I’m sad about that because I’ve learned so much during this challenge. I’ve tried new things and produced something every darn day! I hope to take more time producing something I want to hang on my walls and maybe sell at an art fair, locally. I want to make cards for holidays and birthdays. I want to inspire the kids in this house to try new things, as well.
So, I sat down with my favorite new artist’s tools for my 100th day—my soft pastels. I found a painting on Pinterest I wanted to mimic to see if I could. This is the result. It’s not perfect or original, but like with writing, you imitate until you find your own “voice”.
And then, because I wanted to do something that’s more “me”—I did this…
So, there you have it. My last piece for the challenge. Tomorrow, I’ll share a photo of everything I achieved spread out on a table—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Then I’ll play catch-up with the index card challenge. 🙂
